My way to Santiago de Compostela is off the beaten track. It goes through many variants through the mountains.

After walking the Way of Puy-en-Velayto Saint-Jean-Pied-Port, I finally decided not to continue the classic path which leads straight to Roncesvalles pass, but to take the GR 10 long-distance hiking trail which crosses the Basque Country to reach the Atlantic Ocean at Hendaye.

I had the desire in 2022 to continue this crossing of the Pyrenees, but this time starting from the side of the mediterranean from the town of Banyuls-sur-mer.

I'm not ready to forget these magnificent landscapes made up of high plateaus and peaks, beautiful forests and valleys, a stone's throw from Spain.

I hope that my videos will make you want to start your turn.

1- Merens les Vals refuge de la Rulhe, environ 14 km,

2- Refuge de la Rulhe Plateau de Beille, environ 14 km,

3- Plateau de Beille à Siguer, environ 24 km,

4- Siguer à l'étang d'Izourt, environ 24 km,

5- Etang d'Izourt au barrage des étangs de Bassies, environ 24 km,

6- Etangs de Bassies à Aulus les bains, environ 15 km.
